Scholarship policy
Article 1:
Mili Institute of Higher Education has laid down special rules for achieving the scholarships. The core aim of the scholarships is to help people in need and to create a competitive atmosphere among the student, therefore, all the students of each faculty with high CGPA who have secured (first, second and third positions) are awarded scholarships as per following criteria:
Students who secured the highest marks in the faculty will get a 50% waiver in tuition fee
Students who secured the second position in the faculty will get a 12% waiver in tuition fee
Students who secured the third position in the faculty will get a 10% waiver in tuition fee
First position holders in each semester will only get 7% waiver in tuition fee
Article 2:
50% fee discount for the student who secures the highest marks at the university level. The above scholarships are applicable only for one semester.
Note: If a student is eligible for more than one scholarship, he/she will receive the highest scholarship.
Article 3:
Special scholarships are considered after mutual understanding and confirmation for the employees of those institutions and organizations with whom Mili Institute of Higher Education has signed the MoU. According to the policy of Mili Institute of Higher Education, 10% fee discount will be considered generally to the official employees of the relevant institutions and 50% individually to a limited number.
The organizations, institutions and ministries are as follows:
I. All ministries and general directorates of the private and public sector
II. National Council (Upper and Lower house of the Representatives)
III. The Supreme Court and the Attorney General's Office
IV. All radios, magazines and newspapers organizations
V. Afghanistan Banks Association
VI. National Olympic Committee
VII. United Nations Institutions
VIII. Afghanistan Exhibition Center
IX. Directorate of the Red Crescent
Article 4:
A: If two or more members of a family study at Mili Institute of higher education, 10% scholarship will be given to each member of the family for a complete degree program.
B: 2000 Afghani fee exemption is considered for second-time students (1-4 pm) of the Faculty of Law and Political Science.
C: 10% scholarship for children of current employees and 5% scholarship for their close relatives. This scholarship is for one academic term and can be given only to the current employees of the Institution.
D: Apart from the above cases, the scholarship can’t be given from the budget of the Institution.
Article 5:
This policy is enforced from the beginning of the year 2019 and it is applicable to those students who find their way to the Institution through the official entrance examination.
Other fee exemptions granted based on the MoUs should be less than 50% and a discount of 50% or more is the only authority of the Scholarship Committee.
Article 6:
The fee structure for the 1400 solar is considered as below:
The tuition fee for the Faculty of Curative Medicine is 60,000 Afghanis but students are obliged to pay 40,000 Afghanis after a discount.
The main fee for the Faculty of Stomatology is 35000 Afghanis but students are obliged to pay 17500 Afghanis after a discount.
The main fee of the Faculty of Law and Political Science is 20,000 Afghanis but students are bound to pay 8,000 Afghanis after a discount.
The tuition fee of the Mili Institute of Health Sciences is 15,000 Afghanis but after a discount, the students of each department are supposed to pay 7,000 Afghanis.
