Scholarship policy

Scholarships are established in accordance with Article 28 of the Universities’ Regulations regarding students’ tuition fees. This section is organized to regulate scholarship-related matters, determine financial discounts for eligible students, and ensure implementation.

Details:

Article One:
To encourage students and create healthy competition among them, outstanding students of each faculty are granted scholarships as follows:

·  First position of the faculty: 25% discount

·  First position of each class: 10% discount

·  Overall, first position among all faculties: 50% discount

Article Two:
Students who voluntarily transfer from a private university to the National University are considered for scholarships.

Article Three:
Based on mutual agreement and signature, scholarships are granted to employees of institutions as follows:

·   For official employees of institutions, depending on the agreed number of staff, a collective 10% scholarship is granted.

·   For individual cases, a 50% scholarship is granted.

Institutions eligible for scholarship agreements with the National University include:

·   All ministries and general directorates of both public and private sectors

·  Ministry of Information and Culture, Deputy Ministry of Youth Affairs

Article Four:
a) If two or more members of the same family study at the National University, each member receives a 7% scholarship (family discount) until the completion of their academic program.
b) Children of active employees are granted a 7% discount, while close relatives are granted a 5% scholarship. This scholarship applies for one academic period only and is valid exclusively for active employees.
c) Apart from the above-mentioned cases, scholarships cannot be provided from the institution’s budget.
