Meeting with Professors for Enhancing the Quality of the Teaching Process
This meeting, chaired by the Academic Vice Chancellor of Mili University, Mohammad Hanif Moaz, was held with the aim of improving the
quality of teaching and providing greater academic facilities for students.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Moaz
emphasized the recruitment of new professors and the confirmation of academic
ranks for the remaining faculty members, in order to address the university’s
staffing needs in a standardized manner. In addition, a comprehensive
discussion was held on students’ monographs and academic research, and
professors were urged to pay serious attention to the quality of research.
To enhance the effectiveness of practical
learning, the issue of students’ practical work in laboratories and hospitals
was thoroughly discussed. It was decided that greater precision should be
applied in this area so that students can benefit from standard practical
training. To ensure a more organized classroom environment, special emphasis
was placed on the punctual attendance of both professors and students, and
faculty members were asked to take this matter seriously.
The meeting also covered short-term and
long-term educational plans aimed at strengthening the professional capacity of
professors. Regarding student assessment, all faculty members were advised to
prepare effectively for the 20-percent examinations, and it was decided that
professors and academic departments should adopt the necessary measures to improve
this process.
In conclusion, professors shared their views
and suggestions, expressing hope that with the implementation of these
decisions, the quality and standards of teaching at Mili University would further improve.
