One-day scientific conference held by the mili university to promote public awareness
In order to promote public awareness, a one-day scientific conference was
held by the Mili University, focusing on the fight against administrative
corruption, environmental protection, and the harmful effects of drug use as
the main topics of discussion.
The conference opened with a speech by the Chancellor of the Mili
University, Associate Professor Khalid Ahmad Habib. Referring to the importance of the
selected topics, he stated that administrative corruption, environmental
challenges, and drug use are serious issues that have a profound impact on the
future of society. He emphasized that academic institutions have a
responsibility to play an active role in public awareness, research, and the
presentation of practical solutions. He also expressed confidence in the scientific
capacity of the Mili University and added that the high morale of professors
and academic staff following the Mili Conference on Pharmaceuticals has created
a strong foundation for more effective scientific programs.
Following the opening remarks, Abdul Haq Abid, a faculty member of the
Faculty of Law and Political Science, presented his academic paper on the
various dimensions of administrative corruption. He examined the legal, social,
and administrative aspects of corruption and noted that, in addition to the
implementation of laws, transparency, accountability, and public awareness play
a key role in combating corruption.
Subsequently, Dr. Zabihullah Saleh, a faculty member of the Faculty of
Curative Medicine, delivered a presentation on individual responsibility in
environmental protection. He highlighted the relationship between environmental
pollution, the misuse of natural resources, and public health problems,
stressing that environmental protection is a shared responsibility of all members
of society.
The third presenter, Hamidullah Nail, another faculty member of the Faculty
of Law and Political Science, addressed the harmful effects of drug use. He
explained the negative consequences of drug use on individuals, families, and
society, and emphasized that addressing this issue requires collective efforts,
public awareness, and strict legal measures.
At the conclusion of the conference, the Vice Chancellor for Academic
Affairs, Mohammad Hanif Moaz, evaluated the conference positively and praised
the scientific presentations and efforts of the faculty members. He expressed
his appreciation to the participants and noted that such scientific conferences
are valuable for academic development and increasing the university’s social
impact.
