Chancellor of Mili University Meets with the Leadership of the Ministry of Public Health

The Chancellor of Mili University, Associate Professor Khalid Ahmad Habib, met with the leadership of the Ministry of Public Health.

The meeting was attended by Mawlawi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Deputy Minister for Health Service Delivery at the Ministry of Public Health; Dr. Hedayatullah Oria Khail, Technical Advisor to the Deputy Ministry; Dr. Haidar Khan Haidar, Director General of Disease Prevention and Control; Dr. Sharif Ahmad Habib Ahmadzai, Specialist at the Ministry of Public Health; and Salahuddin Saleh, Head of Health Services for Kuchis.

During the meeting, comprehensive discussions were held regarding the organization of the National Scientific–Research Conference titled “Rational Medicines use and Future perspectives in Afghanistan.” The discussions focused on the role of the Ministry of Public Health in enriching the scientific content of the conference, the participation of health specialists in scientific panels, institutional coordination, and the implementation of professional standards in the rational use of medicines.

The leadership of the Ministry of Public Health welcomed Mili University’s initiative in organizing this scientific conference and emphasized the importance of strengthening the linkage between academic institutions and the national health sector. They also expressed their readiness to provide technical, scientific, and professional cooperation to ensure the success of the conference.
