Najib Ullah Shinwari
Vice Chancellor of Finance & Administrative AffairsNajib Ullah Shinwari was born in 1370 AH in the Achin district of Nangarhar province, in the village of Chal Gazi.
Education:
- Started higher education in the Faculty of Engineering and graduated in 1992 from IRC in Construction Engineering.
- After facing some interruptions due to domestic issues, he resumed his education and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science.
- Completed a Master's degree in Public Administration from Mahatma Gandhi University, India, in 2013.
- Pursued further studies in International Law and earned a second Master's degree.
- Later completed a third Master's degree in ITF from Marshall Lord University, Las Vegas, USA.
Experience:
Najib Ullah Shinwari has a broad work experience with several national and international organizations. His professional journey began with UNAIDS, where he worked in the sector of Jihadi film production in Afghanistan.
- Project Manager/Senior Engineer/Senior Structural Engineer/Advisor/Team Leader with numerous NGOs and companies on various building and administrative projects.
- Served as the Provincial Supervisor in Khost Province with ARO NGO in road and irrigation sectors.
- Worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a brief period.
- Assigned as the Capacity Building Officer at the Ministry of Public Works.
- Became the Head of the Facilities Department at the Ministry of Defense.
- Appointed as the Deputy Minister of National Development Programs (Program-i-Nashri National Development).
- Held the position of General Director of the Capital Zone and led it successfully.
It is also noteworthy that Mr. Shinwari has extensive teaching experience since 1368 AH, having taught at various educational institutions.
